"The head has 8 settings and all are very useful. The hose is very strong (and therefore slightly harder to uncurl/stretch out than cheaper ones) and a tasteful dark green. If you have a very long garden you may find it a bit difficult to reach it all but not a problem for us. The tough head is attached to a lance which you can remove and just use the head but then you lose the on/off switch which is on the lance if you do that. Once we got used to it keep the lance on all the time. You can angle the spray downwards if you are watering handing baskets etc. The spray is powerful if you want it to be but there are gentle settings for delicate plants or flower heads. At first it dribbled slightly but was fine when the joins were screwed up tightly. I am very pleased with my purchase."
