"Once erected it was a very nice gazebo and looked far better than any others I have seen. However a user needs to be aware that the instructions given were poor, consisting of a small A5 page of diagrams and there were no instructions on fixing the side curtains or using the guy ropes provided to fix the canopy to the feet of the poles, other than a small diagram. It is vital to check that all parts are there as soon as delivered and lay them out, each pole is numbered, to see how it fits together. The only way to erect it in the 20 minutes or so claimed is with at least 2 people who know what to do. As provided, the structure would not have stood up to the fairly light gusting winds that we were having. However it was perfectly stable with extra support. I bought 100m of paracord, some 30cm tent pegs and guy rope tensioners. one of these at each pole held it firmly and some gazebo weights that I already had were put around the poles for extra support. The cord provided for the guy ropes is rather elastic and I did not use it. A lenght of paracord was used instead to fix the canopy to the plastic feet at the base of each pole.
The poles fit well into the plastic joints and did not come loose. I did tape over the other joints as they were quite a loose fit and tended to come out wheile I was erecting the gazebo.
It seemed to be pretty waterproof as we had no leaks with light rain. I did not draw the curtains but I suspect they would flap about quite a bit in windy weather as there seemed only to be a few velcro tapes to keep them in place. Also the plastic wndows are very thin and need careful handling to avoid damage.
I have given this 4 stars because It worked well in my situation as I was able to make it more stable with the extra support that I used.
I will use it again but I am not sure how many times. Much depends upon the strength of the stitching at the points where the guy ropes are fitted. However, I will consider it money well spent if It only get 3 or 4 uses as the alternatives of hiring or getting a sturdier type are beyond my budget."
